The US Sailing Center Miami is an important community resource and we are proud and pleased to partner and collaborate with our sailing partner organizations.
Team Paradise is a truly unique sailing organization that gives the disabled community an opportunity to sail at all levels of expertise, ranging from recreational enjoyment to training for world-class competitions.
Having served 107 inner city youth from the Urban Promise Miami already this summer, and another 118 youth scheduled at this time for the remainder of the 2018 summer from other Miami organizations, the United States Sailing Center is delighted to provide the infrastructure for Team Paradise to make this programming happen to serve our children in Miami.
The University of Miami Sailing Team was formed in 2004 and immediately gained momentum to become one of the most competitive sailing programs in the country. With the ideal sailing conditions in Miami and Biscayne Bay, UM is the perfect place for a collegiate sailing team. The team currently practices from the US Sailing Center Miami.
City of Miami Parks and Recreation and the US Sailing Center have enjoyed a strong and productive relationship for the benefit of its citizens. The sailing center has provided summer programs for inner city youth, boat storage as well as launching and hauling at a nominal fee, and public access to the waterfront of Biscayne Bay.
Biscayne Bay Yacht Racing Association provides a schedule of events and uniform sailing instructions for races on Biscayne Bay and is a great resource for upcoming regattas and clinics.
